A cooperation memorandum of understanding was signed and exchanged between Lorestan University and Bu-Ali Sina University of Hamedan, emphasizing the services of the central laboratories of both parties.
According to the Public Relations Department of Lorestan University, this memorandum of understanding has been signed by Dr. Arash Ghorbani, Vice President for Research and Technology of Bu-Ali Sina University of Hamedan, and Dr. Mostafa Karampour, Vice President for Research and Technology of Lorestan University.
Dr. Ali Farmani is the head of the Central Laboratory of Lorestan University.
This memorandum of understanding emphasizes several points, including: introducing the laboratory and its services as a collaborative laboratory on the websites of the laboratories of both parties, establishing communication with new clients for the destination laboratory through the usual and approved methods of the universities involved, preparing and sending an introduction letter for the destination laboratory after coordinating the applicant for sample submission, rectifying defects or re-analyzing within 7 working days in case of problems in the performed analyses, providing training on important sample acceptance points for both parties if needed, responding to customers regarding their orders and complaints and informing both parties through various means, announcing service tariffs to customers according to the tariff announced at the time of signing the memorandum of understanding or contract, not increasing the price of services compared to the tariff price announced at the time of signing the memorandum of understanding or contract, applying a 25% discount for samples accepted and sent for the contracting parties, holding joint training courses on familiarization with new laboratory techniques and methods, laboratory standard HSE and laboratory standardization, sharing standards, reference materials, and rare chemical materials between the laboratories of both parties in accordance with the agreed-upon guidelines, and providing consultation in the required field for both parties, including the purchase, repair, maintenance, and calibration of laboratory equipment.
