Active Participation of Lorestan University in the National HSE Event

Concurrent with the commemoration of Passive Defense Week, "Hananeh Bahmanyan," representative of Lorestan University, participated in the Fourth Specialized Seminar on the Establishment of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) System and the Ninth Annual Meeting of Managers of Central Laboratories of Universities and Research and Technology Centers, which was held on November 27 and 28, 2025, at the Imam Khomeini (RA) Grand Prayer Grounds in Tehran.
According to the Public Relations of Lorestan University, this seminar was held with the aim of examining the latest approaches and challenges in the field of health, safety, and environment in the scientific and research environments of the country and exchanging experiences among laboratory managers and experts.
On the first day of the program, topics related to safety, health, and environment in laboratory and workshop environments were the main focus of the lectures.
At the beginning of the ceremony, Dr. Ordokhani, Director General of the Office of Support and Research Affairs of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, delivered the opening speech.
Then, various speakers expressed their views on topics such as occupational safety in laboratories, the role of prediction and prevention of risks, passive defense and HSE in research environments, intelligent HSE management, culture building in university environments, and the application of data mining and artificial intelligence in safety management.
On the second day of the seminar (November 28), discussions were held on legal and technical challenges in contracts for the purchase and supply of research equipment, the role of private laboratories in the scientific and economic development of the country, and the position of laboratory equipment in maintaining the scientific credibility of universities.
The scientific management of this program was undertaken by Dr. Mohammad Sadegh Aliaei, Deputy Director General of the Office of Support and Research Affairs of the Ministry of Science.
It is worth mentioning that this seminar was held concurrently with the Eighth International Exhibition of Chemicals and Chemical Industries, Laboratory Equipment and Services.
On the sidelines of this event, representatives of universities held discussions and exchanged views with companies supplying equipment and chemicals to explore the grounds for the development and updating of laboratory equipment at Lorestan University.
In conclusion, the participants of this seminar were awarded two certificates of attendance for 8 hours of training.
