Inauguration of the Laboratory Complex and Greenhouses of the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources, University of Lorestan, with the presence of the Deputy Minister of Science, Research and Technology.

The Laboratory Complex of the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources of Lorestan University and the greenhouses of this faculty were inaugurated with the presence of the Deputy Minister of Science, Research and Technology and the Director General of the Ministerial Office of the Ministry of Science.
On Wednesday afternoon, June 20th, with the presence of the Deputy Minister of Science, Research and Technology, Dr. Abdolreza Bagheri, and the Advisor to the Minister and Director General of the Ministerial Office of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, Dr. Masoud Shams-Bakhsh, the Laboratory Complex of the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources of Lorestan University, with a foundation of 1900 square meters and a budget of 3 billion and 200 million Tomans, was inaugurated.
With the inauguration of this complex, all the laboratories of the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources of Lorestan University will be consolidated in this building.
Also, with the presence of Dr. Abdolreza Bagheri and Dr. Masoud Shams-Bakhsh, the educational and research greenhouses of the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources of Lorestan University, with a foundation of 800 square meters and a budget of 600 million Tomans, were inaugurated.
This educational and research complex will conduct research and studies on plants and greenhouses, and issues related to drought and water scarcity, as well as the issue of reforming the cultivation pattern.
The Deputy Minister of Science, Research and Technology, Dr. Abdolreza Bagheri, explained in the inauguration ceremony of these two projects and in the presence of reporters: "The educational standards of Lorestan University are rapidly reaching an acceptable level".
He added: "Entrepreneurship should be strengthened, and the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources of Lorestan University has an acceptable situation in this field".
Dr. Bagheri explained: "Lorestan University, compared to other universities that were established at the same time as this university, is at acceptable and good norms".
The Deputy Minister of Science, Research and Technology stated: "Today, 21 laboratories are being established in the laboratory complex of the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources, which is an important step towards improving skills and increasing the quality of postgraduate education at the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources".
Dr. Bagheri stated: "We must try to use the potential of universities to solve the problems and issues of the province".
Also, on the same day, the Deputy Minister of Science, Research and Technology and the Director General of the Ministerial Office of the Ministry of Science visited the under-construction central building of Lorestan University, which is in its final stages of construction and is scheduled to be put into operation during this year's Government Week.
This building has a foundation of 6200 square meters and five floors, and nearly 9 billion Tomans have been spent on its construction so far.
It is worth mentioning that the Deputy Minister of Science, Research and Technology and the Director General of the Ministerial Office of the Ministry of Science, on the same day, also participated in the meeting of the Board of Trustees of Lorestan University and the meeting of the University Council.
Dr. Bagheri is the head of the Boards of Trustees and the Boards of Review of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology.
