Specialized Workshop: "Introduction to Adsorption by Physical and Chemical Methods"

Specialized Training Workshop titled "Introduction to Adsorption by Physical and Chemical Methods," in collaboration with the Central Laboratory of Lorestan University and Behin Kala Gostar Company, was held on Monday, October 12, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the conference hall of the Central Library building of the university.
According to the Central Laboratory of Lorestan University, in this scientific workshop, Dr. Atefeh Abbasi Ahd, Technical Director of Behin Kala Gostar Company, as the instructor, explained the theoretical foundations, modern measurement methods, and industrial applications of adsorption from physical and chemical perspectives.
The workshop was designed to enhance the scientific and skill capabilities of the experts of the Central Laboratory, faculty members, and graduate students, and provided a platform for participants to become familiar with the practical applications of adsorption in various industries such as chemistry, pharmaceuticals, and the environment.
This workshop was held in line with Lorestan University's approach to developing specialized training and effective links between industry and the university.
On the sidelines of this workshop, the head of the Central Laboratory of Lorestan University, Dr. Ali Gholamifard, a faculty member of the Biology Department and Technical Director of Behin Kala Gostar Company (workshop instructor), discussed laboratory work interactions.
The Central Laboratory of Lorestan University operates under the supervision of the Vice President for Research and Technology of the university.
